The Land Trust offers college and university students the opportunity to work with staff as interns. These unpaid positions may have a Conservation, Education, or Administration focus. We require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, unless special circumstances apply. The Land Trust is willing to coordinate with the student's academic institution for course credit. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Past Volunteer Events
-National Trails Day 2015, at Big Rock Preserve. Volunteers helped build trails and create safer access to the beautiful Ventura River at our Preserve south of Foster Park.
-Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service 2015, in the Ventura River Estuary. A large group of dedicated volunteers helped us tackle the infamous "Island" in the estuary, where we found many interesting artifacts of human habitation.
