Introduction to Birding at Harmon Canyon Preserve

Join Ventura Land Trust docents Kris Ohlenkamp and Jen Hall for an introduction to birding at Harmon Canyon Preserve. This 2-hour excursion, appropriate for beginner and experienced birders, will include an approximately 2 mile walk in Harmon Canyon Preserve with frequent stops to listen for and look at birds like the yellow-breasted chat, blue grosbeak, and rufous-crowned sparrow. Participants will meet at the trailhead and then be shuttled to the starting location. Bring binoculars, a notebook, and water to drink along the way. Please, no dogs on this hike.
