The goal of the Harmon Canyon Preserve capital campaign is to raise $11.6 million to purchase the land of Harmon Canyon, install preserve amenities and a trail network for hiking and biking, and establish a stewardship endowment for the property.
Harmon Canyon Preserve Legacy Wall
To commemorate Harmon Canyon Preserve's generous donors, Ventura Land Trust has commissioned an iron art installation by Ventura artist Tyronne McGrath. The art piece, which will be installed at the Harmon Canyon Preserve trailhead, depicts the plants and animals found in the hills of Ventura.
Dispersed throughout this piece are commemorative leaves with the names of each donor who contributes $1,000 or more as a one-time or monthly contribution to the Harmon Canyon Campaign.
Crafted by hand, these personalized iron leaves will form a beautiful legacy wall for all visitors to admire upon entering the preserve. Learn more about steel artist Tyronne McGrath.
