Pollinator Palooza

What’s all the BUZZ about pollinators? Join us in the park for this family-friendly event to learn about bees, birds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Ventura Wild educators will share nature-based activities, and you can participate in eco-friendly arts & crafts, educational activities, and more. 

  • Make bee wax candles & seed bombs. 
  • Paint bee boxes for local beekeepers. 
  • Create chalk art, flower crowns, and 3D paper bugs. 
  • Learn pollinator-friendly gardening tips and walk to the Cornucopia Community Garden for a tour. 
  • Attend Storytime – come dressed as your favorite pollinator! 
  • Take home a native plant and ‘bee home’ kit.
  • Learn about pollinating insects with UC Master Gardener Laura Pasetta at 11:30 a.m.
