Please join us this Saturday, June 20 from 9:00am-12noon for our monthly '3rd Saturday' restoration event in the estuary. We will be removing a little bit of trash, but new for this month we will be doing trail work as well! Maintaining the trails creates better access to our preserve, and makes it more inviting for the public to come enjoy the natural beauty of the estuary. Trail work is lots of fun, and a great workout!
We will meet next to the Main St. Bridge along the bike path near downtown Ventura. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, and don't forget sunscreen and water! We will provide tools and gloves. This is a beautiful time of year in the estuary and our efforts have resulted in a great increase in the native plants and animals on our Willoughby Preserve, we hope to see you there!
