Join us on Friday, November 17 from 2 – 4 p.m. to help plant trees and build a new kiosk at the Big Rock Preserve. Meridian Design Construction, Inc., a Ventura-based licensed contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction, has donated the design and construction of a wooden kiosk that will be installed at the preserve entrance. In addition, we have 18 young oak trees to be put in the ground.

VLT staff will provide the tools and direction and volunteers will provide the manpower. Don't miss out on this chance to be a part of the team that will beautify Big Rock! 

After we finish planting and building, join VLT staff as we celebrate our success at Leashless Brewing located at 585 E. Thompson Blvd. in Ventura.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, Leashless is saying thanks to our community by donating 20% of tasting room sales to their favorite local non-profits as part of their “Week of Thanks” series. On November 17, they selected Ventura Land Trust to be the recipient of their generosity. We are certainly thankful about that!
