At Ventura Land Trust, we are grateful to have an extraordinarily strong volunteer base! Join our community of enthusiastic volunteers who share a passion for protecting open space and the environment. As a small, grassroots organization, volunteers are integral to the work of the Land Trust. You can help with projects from our preserves to our office and everything in between. Native Habitat Restoration
Help with tree planting, watering, trimming, and overall native plant maintenance.
Help with invasive plant removal, monitoring, trail construction and maintenance.
Help with updating our database, filing, putting together mailings and packets, etc.
We’re looking for people who can help with setup, check-in, ticket sales, beer pouring, merchandise sales, and especially cleanup.

The Land Trust offers college and university students the opportunity to work with staff as interns. These unpaid positions may have a Conservation, Education, or Administration focus. We require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, unless special circumstances apply. The Land Trust is willing to coordinate with the student's academic institution for course credit.
