VLT Members-Only Wildflower Walk
Wildflowers are gearing up to put on quite a show in Ventura's hillsides. Areas burned by the Thomas Fire have made an amazing comeback and thanks to this year's wonderful rains, our hills are about to burst forth with red, yellow and purple wildflowers. It'll be a beautiful display of nature's resiliency in action!
VLT members with current memberships are invited to join Ken Niessen, Botanist with U.S. Fish and Wildlife, on Saturday, April 13, for an exclusive 2-mile round trip wildflower walk at the Harmon Canyon Preserve. At this event, an exclusive benefit for VLT's current members, Ken Niessen will lead participants up Harmon Canyon's main trail and identify and describe the variety of plants and flowers that live there. A $20 ticket is required to reserve your spot.
Advance reservations are required, space is limited to 70 participants, no one person can purchase more than 2 tickets and tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis. Not a member yet, click here to join today!
Not sure if your membership is up to date? Call the VLT office and we will check: (805) 643-8044.
