Ventura Land Trust Wildlife Walk
Want to know more about the critters that call our community home? Ever wonder who left those adorable paw prints in the mud while out on a hike? Well, this event is perfect for you.
Join experts from Ventura County Wildlife Trackers (VCWT) and Ventura Land Trust Stewardship Director Kate Furlong on Saturday, March 7th, for an exclusive three-hour wildlife walk at the Harmon Canyon Preserve. Members will hike through Harmon Canyon's main trail and barranca and identify and describe the variety of prints, scat, and other animal tracks.
A $20 ticket is required to reserve your spot. Please wear a hat, breathable clothing, and sunscreen, and bring plenty of water.
