This Summer... Bigger, Bolder, Better and Under the Stars!

The Wild and Scenic is Ventura County's premiere film event and sells out every year!

Mark your calendar—the 9th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival is coming to Ventura on Saturday, August 18, 2018. (8-18-18: now that’s easy to remember!) This year’s festival is going to be bigger, bolder and better than ever before. And the best part – it will be held outside under the stars!

Due to the growing popularity of the Wild & Scenic tour, we are expanding and relocating the festival this year to the beautiful campus of the Ventura County Credit Union on Vista Del Mar Drive in Ventura. The new venue boasts beautiful ocean views and a huge grassy lawn where festivalgoers can sit back and relax on blankets and chairs while enjoying a line-up of award-winning short films that educate, entertain and inspire. On top of that, there will be two live bands, food trucks serving up tasty grub plus beer, wine, cocktails and the legendary VLT raffle. Vendors and community supporters will have tables lining the festival and we will even serve up special family-friendly activities for parents and kids.

Gates open at 5:00 PM * The films start at 8:00 PM
