George R. Leis is Executive Vice President and Market President for CalPrivate Bank, bringing more than four decades of banking and leadership experience to the Central Coast. Before joining CalPrivate, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Montecito Bank & Trust, and previously as President and CEO of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. His career began at Security Pacific National Bank and includes senior roles at MUFG Union Bank, Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America.

George is deeply engaged in nonprofit and community leadership. He currently serves as Chair of the National Board of the YMCA of the USA and Chair of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation. He is also a member of the California State University Northridge Foundation Board and the Channel Islands YMCA Foundation Board and serves as a Trustee of both the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.

A graduate of California State University, Northridge, George is also a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA). He is committed to strengthening communities across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties through service, stewardship, and values-based leadership.
