Jessica Dias

Jessica Dias is the Development Director at Ventura Land Trust and is passionate about protecting the open spaces, wildlife, and natural beauty that make Ventura County so special. She brings a background in environmental advocacy and nonprofit development, including previous work with Los Padres ForestWatch and the Environmental Defense Center, where she helped support conservation efforts across California’s Central Coast. Jessica loves building community connections and inspiring people to support local land conservation and public access to nature.

Originally from South Carolina, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology. Her love of history, landscapes, and the natural world has shaped both her personal and professional path. A proud plant and animal nerd, she cares deeply about protecting ecosystems and finding meaningful, community-driven solutions for conservation.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking, camping, beach days, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She’s happiest exploring new places outdoors and spending time in nature with her husband, dog, Bettylou, and adventure cat, Bebe.
