SOLOMON ADAMS
Field Technician
Solomon grew up in Orange County, California where he developed a love for the ocean and coastal ecosystems. This led him to pursue a degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management at CSU Channel Islands. At Channel Islands, Solomon participated in trail work with the Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council, completed a capstone project on upstream habitat suitability for endangered tidewater gobies, and fell in love with Ventura County’s landscapes and ecosystems. Post graduation, Solomon interned at the Wishtoyo Chumash Foundation, where he worked in monitoring the Santa Clara River Watershed and its various ecosystems, as well as advocated for environmental justice causes. He is passionate about VLT’s mission, and is excited to participate in conservation with the team.
When Solomon is not at work with VLT you can find him surfing, hiking, and reading.
