YOUTH LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Gain hands-on experience in early childhood and outdoor education! Ventura Wild offers volunteer opportunities to grow your skills, connect with nature, and make a difference in kids’ lives. Positions are available for ages 16+ and provide professional development and practical experience.

Summer Volunteer Position

Join Ventura Wild as a summer volunteer and assist one of our week-long camps. Collaborate with three experienced outdoor educators to guide a small group of 12 participants (5–7 hours per day), fostering exploration, play, and meaningful connections in the wild landscapes of Ventura County.

School Year Internship

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis

Interns are placed with one of our school-year programs, where they support a team of three experienced outdoor leaders in mentoring groups of up to 12 children (3-5 hours per week), fostering exploration, play, and meaningful connections in the wild landscapes of Ventura County.
